For using services provided on this site
For ordering the products online -Shopping area. Home page is the starting point for entering the shopping area.
Access:The 'Online Shop' button of the left hand side navigation menu links to the shopping area.
For requesting a catalogue - You can request our full colour catalogue.
Access:
Home Page - Click on the the hyperlink order your 'catalogue' now at the bottom of the Page.
Shopping area - Click on the 'Order catalouge' button of the left hand side navigation menu.3.
Step wise Guide for placing an Order
Languages offered to place an order: English only. Thus all the data input must be in English only. During the ordering process you will find notes for your guidance and hyperlinks for handy help of information.
Steps: Once you are in the Shopping area
1.Login or Register:If you are an account customer Click on the 'Login' text link (located at the top navigation bar of the screen) to enter your Account No and Password to Login Or If you are a new customer Click on the 'Register' text link (located at the top navigation bar of the screen) to register yourself. You do not need to login Or register yourself to view the products.
2.Search for the product:You can use either or both of the following methods
- All the products are divided into categories and subcategories.From the left hand side navigation menu select a product category and click on it. This will take you to the products screen featuring all the products available in the selected product category. Further the products screen will also display drop down menu (located at the right hand side of the screen) for the subcategories available in that particular category. Select the particular subcategory and click on 'Go' button. This will take you to the products screen featuring the products available in that particular product subcategory.You can repeat this process until you find the product you may wish to purchase.
- By using Search feature text link (located at the top navigation bar of the shopping area screens).Here you can search the database of the products by using the Key Word Search.
3.Specify the Order:From the screen featuring the product specify your order by selecting from the options listed for example quantity, colour, finish.
4.Add the product to Basket:Click on 'Add To Cart' and review the details for the item you have added to the basket. If you have started searching the products first and are yet to login or register a screen will prompt you to do so to review the details for the item you have added to the basket. If you want to remove the product that you have already added to the shopping basket you can do so by clicking on the remove button of the shopping basket.
5.Adding more products:If you want to add more products to the shopping basket repeat the steps Search for the product, Specify the order and Add the product to Basket until you have placed all the products in your shopping basket. If you want to remove the product that you have already added to the shopping basket you can do so by clicking on the remove button of the shopping basket.
6.Pay for your order:Payment Options: Depending on the country of your registered address payment options will be displayed on the screen. Registered address is your address which you have input while registering at www.birminghamdrumcentre.co.uk If your registered address with us is of United Kingdom you have got two payment options. You can either pay by Credit/Debit card or by Cheque. However if your registered address with us is of rest of the world except United Kingdom you can only pay by Debit/Credit Card. For paying by Credit/Debit card click on 'Pay On-line' button of the basket page. For paying by by cheque click on 'Payment by Cheque' button of the basket page.
6.1 Complete the Card holders Billing Address and Card details form fully if you are paying by Debit/Credit Card. Click on 'Submit Details' button once only to send your card details over a secure link. Wait for the response from the server. The next screen will display 'Continue processing' button. Click on it to continue processing your order.
6.2 Check and Confirm the Delivery Details: Displayed on the screen is your registered address as delivery details. Check it.
You can specify different delivery details for the specific order. However you can't change the country.
Note down our details, address and total amount payable if you are paying by check.
Click on 'Proceed' button to confirm your delivery details.
6.3 Process Order
Click on 'Process Order' button once only to send your order to us. The next screen will display your Order No. Your order has been placed with us. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with your order details.
Note down your Order No. You can track your order by clicking the Order status button .If you have any queries please contact us.
7.Logout: Click on 'Logout' text link (located at the top navigation bar of the screen) to end your session of shopping.
Identifying and Correcting the input errors
Alert Boxes: Alert Boxes are shown when incorrect format of the data has been input or data is missing. Please correct the error by following the instructions on the screen.
Error Messages: These appear when incorrect data has been input or data is missing. Please correct the error by following the instructions.
Spelling mistakes or making changes: Generally whenever you submit new data or the system is going to use previously submitted data, the data will be shown in text format in the next page. Check the data for any input errors. You can use the 'Back' button to correct the input errors and submit again or follow the instructions on the screen to change the input data before confirming it.
