Shopping online with BDC is straightforward and convenient. Click here for a guide on how to use this site.

How can I pay for my purchases?
You can pay for your purchases online using most credit cards except American express. We Accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Electron, Switch and Solo. Your credit card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure. See secure online shopping form more info.

Can I check stock at a store?
Yes you can by phoning 08702 404 484 and speaking to one of our helpful members of staff.

Can I reserve products and pick them up at the store?
Unfortunately you are unable to buy online and pick up at the store. Our online stock is sent out from a central warehouse and so we are unable to offer the same prices in store as online. But feel free to come to the store to purchase any items you wish.

Are the online prices the same as in store prices?
Unfortunately in store prices are different to the online price.

How much does postage cost?
We have implemented a new system of postal charges on the site
For UK mainland:
Up to 750g - £3.50
750g to 2kg - £7
Single parcel above 2Kg - £10.00
2 or more parcels - £13.00

Scotland and offshore islands differ in price when a parcel is shipped
Single parcel above 2 Kg - £15.00
2 or more parcels - £25.00

To check postage to your address if you are unsure, follow through the checkout system on the online shop to the page where you enter your card details. This page shows you how much postage has been charged.

How do I know if my order has been received?
Upon receipt of your order, an Order Acknowledgement screen will be generated issuing an order reference number, and also an email will be sent to the email address you have provided, if one the these two thing doesn't occur then no order has been placed. If you are unsure as to whether you have placed an order or have accidentally ordered an item twice please contact us either by phone or email and we will be able to sort out any problem.

When will my order be delivered?
Deliveries can take up to 28 days depending on type of delivery and stock levels. Generally standard delivery takes 2 to 3 day from next working day after order was placed (excluding weekends) and Express delivery is 1 to 2 days from date of order, depending on what time and day this was ordered. Express delivery items order on weekends will leave on the next working day.

Deliveries will be made between 8am and 6pm and require a signature. Deliveries must also go to the card holder's address with no exceptions.

If any item that you order is currently out of stock, one of our sales team will give you a call to inform you of the expected date and offer an alternative for your convenience.

Can I specify a delivery date?
Yes. If you wish your item to be delivery on a specific date please reply to the confirmation email with the specified date and we shall reply with whether this is possible or not either via a return email or over the phone.

Are receipts sent with deliveries?
A receipt is sent either in or on the parcel as standard procedure. This receipt is a V.A.T. receipt, and this also acts as your guarantee and proof of purchase for your items. So if anything does go wrong and you do need to either return an item or require a part please quote the number on the top right of your receipt, just above the date, for a reference.

Can I place an order from overseas?
Yes you can. Just register as normal and follow through the instructions, ***Please note we can only accept Pay Pal payments for overseas customers***. We cannot send to countries outside of Europe at the moment. Countries that we do ship to include Republic of Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Holland, Scandinavia, Italy and Turkey to name a few, please check our postage map located on the left hand side of the homepage for more details.

Can I return a product, exchange it or get a refund?
We want you to be totally happy with every purchase you make from BDC. If for any reason you not totally satisfied with the products that you've ordered, there is a seven day refund policy on the products but not on the postage charge. The returned items must be in a re-sellable condition un-played and unused. ***This excludes Special order items such as Kits manufactured from source***

If after seven days you are unhappy you can return an item up to 14 days from date of purchase, this will incur a 10% restocking charge.

Please contact the store before returning an item. Any items that are sent without first contacting ourselves will be refused.

Are my details secure?
Shopping on the BDC website is as secure as shopping in any store. Your credit card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure. See Secure online shopping for more details.

Will this site work on my browser?
You should be able to access this website using any browser but the user experience provided may be of a better standard if using either Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher or Netscape 6.2 or higher:

I'm not from the UK, if I cancel my order how is my refund processed?
Due to the fact that we deal in Pounds Sterling all refunds are done in Pounds Sterling regardless of exchange rates, so please think carefully about purchasing if you live abroad.
